COVID-19  keeping Nantwen ‘Clean & Safe’

In order to maintain the safety of ourselves, our guests and all visitors to Nantwen the following changes will be put in place during your stay at Nantwen, thank you very much in advance for your understanding:

  • Check in time after 5pm (instead of 4pm)
  • Check out time before 10am on the day of departure (instead of 10.30)
  • We will ask that you strip the bed(s) and place in the pillow cases
  • We will ask that you leave your rubbish outside
  • Please note that there will be a reduction in the amount of throws and cushions at Nantwen.
  • There will be a supply of cleaning equipment and disinfectant and we ask that you use these on surfaces before you depart.

Important to know

•Situated at the end of a long potholed track Nantwen is 25 meters from the main house where we live with our 4 young children.
•We are a sustainable property with a rainwater harvester, PV Solar panels, solar thermal panels & a biomass boiler.

How does it work being a venue and a luxury cottage for two?

Guests hire Nantwen as either a venue or a luxury cottage for two. If you book the cottage for two then you have the whole of Nantwen to yourself, we ensure that you have complete privacy and on no account do we have venue events during your stay.

Do you take pets?

Due to the vast amount of wildlife and our own animals, we take pets by prior negotiation only. Regrettably we do not currently accept dogs at Nantwen. 

Can you have a holiday at Nantwen without a car?

Our nearest train stations are Clunderwen or Fishguard Harbour. There are excellent local taxi links who can pick you up for a small charge and you can spend your holiday hiding away or walk in the hills. There are also good local bus links.

Can you take more than 2 people?

Nantwen is not just a luxury cottage for two, it is a flexible place and we can take up to 5 people  by negotiation. Please ask us for more information.

Do you offer discounted stays?

Of Course!. We offer discounts on stays longer than a week and on last minute bookings at the luxury cottage for two. Please ask us for more information.

Do we need to bring towels for our stay?

Nantwen is a fully equipped luxury cottage for two. We provide cotton sheets, fluffy towels, and bathrobes. The Kitchen is set up for the adventurous cook or patient baker and we have everything from a good supply of logs to a luxury hamper containing everything from milk, bread, and butter, coffee, tea, and jam, there is also food to order for your stay – just have a look at our online shop.
