Nantwen Cello Course
A friendly cello course for amateur and young players of any level.
The 2021 course will run from Friday the 30th of April 2021 until Sunday the 2nd of May 2021.
As with our popular Chamber Music Summer School the Nantwen Cello Course is open to Amateur and young players of any level. The course is friendly, relaxed and full of wonderful music making, in a beautiful setting and with delicious home cooked food.
Our cello tutors are professional cellists working across the UK and some of them teach in the leading music colleges of the UK. The essence of the Cello Course is to have an immersive weekend where you can focus exclusively on the cello and its repertoire. Bring your questions regarding repertoire, technique and cello history and have them answered.
As a participant on this Amateur Cello Course you will have; a dedicated small group or individual lesson (time limited to 45mins), ensemble sessions, group classes on scale work, how to practice, aspects of technique and musicianship and a performance opportunity (if you would like).
“The tutors do a fantastic job selecting music, making the workshop welcoming and friendly to musicians of all levels” Kalpana: course participant
