There is an ample choice of things to do in Pembrokeshire. Below we have listed some of our favourites.
If you’re an animal enthusiast you won’t have to stray far to enjoy some of Wales’ finest wildlife. From the horses paddocked in a nearby field to the red kites that hover above the surrounding meadows, there’s plenty to keep any nature lover happy. Walk in the ancient Tycanol woodland from the doorstep.
The breathtaking Pembrokeshire Coast Path is just 3 miles away and is perfect for either a leisurely stroll or a serious hike. If you feel like eating out you can find excellent local food served in many of the nearby cafes and eateries.
There are so many lovely towns and villages nearby, that your biggest problem may be choosing which ones you have time to visit. Some of our suggestions are Newport, Fishguard, Cardigan, Narberth and St. Davids.
For the energetic, there are numerous outdoor activities available. Pembrokeshire has an abundance of golf courses which you can find here. There is also fishing, climbing, cycling, diving, surfing, paragliding, kayaking, dolphin watching, the list goes on at Cardigan Bay Active.
Pembrokeshire has a rich cultural heritage, and from the cottage you’ll be close to a wealth of art, history and music.
