What people are saying…

  • “Nantwen has brought a new experience to our musical life in rural west Wales. It’s intimate concert space offers not only a beautifully proportioned area with a spectacular view over the valley below, it’s acoustic is sublime for chamber music bringing wonderful clarity to the sound. Top level performers delight in playing here as much as the audience enjoys the close up listening to such talent. Daniel & Gemma have created a unique place to both learn to play as well as experience music in a simple peaceful setting. It also fills a gap in music provision in north Pembrokeshire. “ Philippa Dodds John MBE, Pembrokeshire

  • We discovered the Nantwen music courses several years ago and was immediately hooked. We've attended a number of both chamber music and cello courses and Daniel and Jemma always create a safe haven for learning. The standard of coaching provided by each of the tutors is always outstanding. They're supportive and encouraging no matter if you're a beginner or an advanced player. The relaxing environment and superb food provided by Jemma only enhances the time spent there. We've also been lucky enough to attend concerts at Nantwen. To experience such professional playing 'close up' is very hard to find elsewhere. We hope to continue with our musical escapes to Nantwen for years to come. Gill and Rod Jones, Bristol
